Description
It's hard enough being a normal teenager. But when your name is Moonbean and you've grown up on a commune run by a bunch of refugees from the 60s -- who's to say what's "normal"? Certainly not Moonbeam. First, his mom's a total flake. All Moonbeam wants is to be able to play basketball, eat junk food instead of macrobiotic vegetable souflee with pureed tofu sauce, go to a regular school with regular kids, and meet girls. Yeah, girls. When he gets a chance to work at a resort in B.C., he figures it's his chance to strike out on his own. Unfortunately, all he seems to do is strike out! Until he realizes that it's not what you're called that counts, but who you are.
