The book shows Jakarta as it is. However, I have not deliberately searched for the ugly corners, I have set out to illustrate my world as it appears to me. Without question, Indonesia has many beautiful sides which are worth to be captured in images and shown to the world - and there are other books which do this very well. This is my personal view in black and white photography.
