Oh, and I mustn't forget to mention George the young boy who lives at the Big House! The characters have endearing personalities and 'human' qualities. They enjoy humorous conversations and unexpected adventures. Best of all, perhaps, regardless of any silly quarrels, they all remain friends and there are no unhappy endings. The stories towards the end of the book (and the new book I'm now writing) will be targeted at junior children with a growing reading ability and will not include hyphenated words!
