"Where Love Dares to Go," contains my 2,000th published poem and my 34th book of poetry. As a writer, I found a depth of fulfillment in writing poetry that transcended my other twelve books in feeling, freedom of expression, and facility for functioning at so many levels with the broadest possible range of subject matter. I provide a minimum of one hundred poems consistent with other volumes divided into at least ten sections. The first two sections are soaring poems of love and romance. The second two are cute and humorous, but with life lessons, nostalgia, and odes to simple pleasures. Sections five and six are more introspective on contemporary life and times. Section seven delves into the mysterious, mythical beings and ethereal scenes. Eight is my sharpened lance poking holes in balloons, sometimes with acerbic verbiage and sometimes with critical contempt of calumny. Nine is scolding and scalding social commentary. Ten is a mix of political, patriotic and religious beliefs put into practical life situations.
