The book basically discusses marital problems, such as cheating, money management, communications, spousal control, appearance, sexual relations, pornography, healthcare, homelessness, abortions, relationship with relatives, depression, mental and physical abuse, alcohol and drug abuse. The women provide opinions on these marital issues with humor patterned after the television show, "The Golden Girls." The fictional author also discusses some difficulties he encounted during his dating period
