Rubel Shelly currently serves as president of Rochester College in Rochester Hills, Michigan, where he is also professor of Philosophy and Religion. A graduate of Vanderbilt University with a Ph.D. in philosophy, he worked with the Woodmont Hills congregation in Nashville, Tennessee for twenty-seven years, as well as taught classes at the Vanderbilt University School of Medicine and Tennessee State University. He is the author of numerous books, including Book-by-Book Study of the Bible. Shelly and his wife, Myra, have three grown children who have given them nine wonderful grandchildren to love and spoil.
