The Flora describes over 300 vascular plant species, both native and introduced, and a number of rapidly spreading invasive wetland plants, such as Kariba-weed (Salvinia molesta). Each species is illustrated with a line-drawing, a detailed description, and a county-level distribution map. A simplified key is used to place a plant into one of nine, easily recognizable groups.
