In 1866, Swoboda was commissioned by Queen Victoria to paint artisans of Indian descent, who receded at Windsor Castle for the preparations of the Golden Jubilee. Swoboda subsequently travelled to India to continue painting.
Within this collection of curated reproductions, there is a variety of Swoboda's
detailed figurative portraits.
How to use the prints:
