The investigation starts when Longshoremen working the Port of Oakland detect a sick odor emanating from a 40 cargo container, that originate from Bangkok Thailand. Inside the back half of the container, that was listed as containing furniture, the bodies of a dozen young oriental women were found. The their cause of death was not apparent. Who they are is unknown. What was their intended destination and end use are all masteries that must be solved by Vera Evans and her partner.
