Description

The Vegan diet is one of the best ways to improve your health and save the environment.

However, one of the biggest problems with Veganism is having to sacrifice the most delicious foods on the planet. Is a healthy life worth living without these heavenly foods? Traditionally, veganism has been associated with eating raw vegetables. However, it is completely possible to enjoy the world's greatest delights without sacrificing your Vegan values.

Humans worldwide have long been dependent on a diet based on vegan foods to carry them through life. Many countries are still primarily vegan because of the scarcity of meat products. Religious requirements are another reason for people to avoid eating meat and adopting a vegan diet. Whatever the reason, it has been shown that people in countries where veganism is a way of life are healthier than people in predominantly meat-eating countries. Veganism is the way to go for the people in these areas, and it might be just the diet you are seeking in your life.

I get asked a lot the reason why I am a vegetarian. It's like people cannot comprehend somebody willingly giving up such a "delicacy". But is it though - a delicacy? It's what we've always known right? Sausages, eggs, bacon and ham for breakfast, ribs for lunch and chicken for supper. I mean you can be forgiven for genuinely scratching your head and wondering what in the world goes into a plate that is minus meat and worse - meat products like cheese, margarine and eggs!? I'm not trying to convert you or anything.

Far from it. I'd just like to let you in to my world and have you understand why I prefer a plant based diet. And maybe it will inform on why others like me have made similar choices.
