His trust in God has been his greatest strength as he served as a police officer, a corrections officer, a pastor on an isolated northern reservation, in numerous congregations across Canada, and in ten years of missionary service to Japan. Following retirement, Ron and Elaine transitioned to a condo in Saskatoon where they continue to serve, now in a lay capacity.
