Never before printed in hardcopy, here are Devlin O'Neill's first three fantasy novellas. Apparently, he has threatened to write more. Description

Never before printed in hardcopy, here are Devlin O'Neill's first three fantasy novellas. Apparently, he has threatened to write more. All these were written and published, electronically only, during the first half of 2013. All are set in Neverwasnia, a land that exists only in O'Neill's imagination, and vaguely resembles England and parts of Western Europe, as they never really were, of course. Here, then, are three flights of fancy and fantasy, all of which are something of a departure from O'Neill's earlier offerings, though they do retain many of his signature quirks. Each is quite different from the others, as well. Little Red Riding Drawers, as the title implies, is a takeoff on the Riding Hood motif, only it features a (mostly) beneficent werewolf rather than the more familiar lupine Granny gobbler. The Trouble With Pixies borrows heavily from a Shakespearian summer Dream, though with pixies standing in for fairies in this version. Cote-Hanger Abbey is O'Neill's homage to Jane Austen's Northanger Abbey. A couple of life-sized and quite lifelike cartoon characters, after suitable gender reassignments, take the lead roles in this one. So enjoy this compilation of tales, each printed in actual ink on real paper for the very first time. The author is even now busily transcribing more of the stories that are whispered, in his ear alone, by the whimsical and often alluring inhabitants of vast and magical Neverwasnia.
