In 2008, Jennifer Moon was sentenced to eighteen months in a California state prison for attempted first- degree robbery. This book contains excerpts from letters she wrote to her former RP/L (Revolution Partner/Lover) while she was incarcerated as well as images and descriptions of her prison relics. Besides it detailing life in prison, it is a story about love, revolution, and freedom (and lack thereof). This book was originally printed in 2012 as a limited edition of fourteen to accompany each photograph in the Prison Relic series from "Phoenix Rising, Part 1: This Is Where I Learned Of Love." Photographs by Patrick Connor. This edition is the Collector's Edition, full-color printing. Jennifer Moon is a Los Angeles based artist, adventurer, and revolutionary.
