Description

Taken from the book's introduction; For exercise, I like to ride my bicycle very early in the morning before the sun comes up. Most of the pictures in this book, in fact all but a few, were taken between three and four o'clock in the morning. As you will see, I like symmetry, shadow, light and angle. If possible I combine all those things to capture a piece of time and space so I can share the past with others. Most often, I use a close up or an angle to cause the viewer to think "What IS that?." Along that vein, I have not identified or titled the pictures. Sometimes the subject is obvious, and when it isn't, you have a mystery to solve. In the meantime, you are seeing things as I saw them, which is as close to feeling what I felt as I can make it.
