Description
Tucker Remington was just shy of one hundred when he died of a broken heart and on his death bed told of burying a treasure behind Three Falls Tavern; a treasure still hidden after thirty years. Eleven-year-old Tucker Maxwell has been keeping a secret for almost nine months-a note he found at the end of his last summer vacation he believes was written by his great-grandfather referring to the treasure. As his next summer vacation begins, Tucker makes an unplanned discovery about himself; abilities his mother calls gifts. He learns to accept and appreciate his gifts while searching for the treasure with the help of his best friend. Tucker also finds himself having to deal with a local bully and suffering through his first boyhood crush. Much to his surprise, Tucker is befriended by a magnificent looking, silver wolf; an owl with the wingspan almost that of an eagle; and a seemingly ageless old man-a Seminole who tends to pop-up at the most opportune times.
