Clement of Alexandria wrote about one century prior the council of Nicaea, being active during the age of the middle early Christian Church. Clement is best understood through his writings themselves. This volume contains all of Clement of Alexandria's surviving works except for the Stromata, which is published in a separate volume. Any Christian, and any lover of truth, will find something to appreciate in these best-loved, public domain, writings on fascinating subjects beyond the immediate understanding of many.
