Description

Sandra Yarrow never believed that her brother, Peter Creel, was guilty of molesting a 14 year-old girl. She knew she was right when he was killed on the day of his release from prison, before he could begin to prove that he was wrongly convicted. But she became afraid when, after unsuccessful attempts to interest the police and failures by private detectives to discover anything new, the night-time phone calls began and she narrowly missed losing her life in 'accidents'. Then a friend recommended Bernard Kramer, an ex-Royal Marine Commando who occasionally looked into situations like hers, because he missed the life of action that once insulated him from the boredom of civilian life. Kramer quickly discovers that Creel's guilt was manufactured, and follows a trail of evidence to Egypt and Vietnam. There he faces an enemy whose tentacles extend over half the world, and will go to any lengths to destroy him.
