Nahum Slouschz (1872 - 1969) was a Russian Hebrew writer and translator. His 1902 doctoral thesis at the University of Paris was titled "La Renaissance de la Littérature Hebraïque". It was published first in French and then revised and extended for publication in Hebrew. The English translation has the benefit of having been revised by the author.
