Centuries later, the Spear becomes located in the sealed crypt of a Cornish church, where evil men seek to force entry. They are foiled by a small band of people, including a violinist, Jennifer Parsloe, and a student, Arthur Marazion. Numerous adventures follow, including transference through time and space.
