Though Dattani is modern, he is not far from Indian tradition; in fact, he gives a new meaning and value to Indian culture and tradition. As he is of the view that tradition is not so faint-hearted and it will survive in some meaningful way into the present. In case, any traditional form, in this fast changing world fails to be relevant, in any scenario, it is better to let it die naturally.
