These texts were investigated using textual criticism to see whether these variations project any ideological and textual affinities with other biblical and the sectarian documents of the Dead Sea Scrolls. Keeping this hypothesis in mind, the book answers three pertinent questions: 1) Is there any messianic significance in the Unique readings of 1QIsaa?
