Description
Abu's father is a magician who can cast spells with his flute songs. Azim asks his father to teach him magic. Abu tells Azim to go to the ancient tree and request a hollow branch. If he is worthy, the spirit in the tree will grant him his wish. If he is not worthy, the tree spirit will turn him into a rock.
Abu tells his Azim that the magic is in the music of his heart. Azim leaves his homeland on a quest to find people he can help and to prove he is worthy to learn magic. He finds a village ravaged by hungry giants. With flute songs, kindness, and intent, he must help even the unlovable giants. The moral of the story: Even giant problems can be solved if everyone works together.
