About the Author: Born in Florida, William Joseph Bryan has experienced a good portion of the 20th century. Pre-Stonewall riot, saw him as Brian Jennings, presenting the 1964 concert "Music: The Hermaphroditic Art" for the One Institute. Under this pseudonym, various articles and photos appeared in early editions of The Advocate, including two cover photo stories. Bryan is emeritus professor of music at Foothill College, Los Altos, California. This is his fifth book. Others include a photo essay interpreting verses from Leaves of Grass, titled "Walt Whitman Today." His erotic memoir is The Moment to Remember.
