Repairing the ship means they will bring the fleet back, and bring about Earth's destruction and enslavement. He cannot let that happen. With other like minded Darrk's, they have to prevent a newly trained engineer, and the old Political Officer, from completing the repairs, and bringing about the end of a planet they have grown to love.
Russell lives in a small town in Montana where he has a girl he can't blast out of town, two dogs, three cats, a garden, boredom, Culinary School certificates he can't use, one vivid imagination, and a wicked sense of humor. The Last Engineer is his first published novel and is one of three in a series.
