How I Got Started I decided to write a Mother's Day Poem for my wife. I then went on to write a Father's Day Poem. Being encouraged and told you have a gift, by many, the poems started coming so fast that I began writing at the dinner table. Some were written at the doctor's office, and others just all over. Being inspired by the Lord, I have a deep desire to write until God says stop. When I go back and read them over, I still can't believe that I was an instrument used by Him. From May 13, 2007 to Oct. 1, 2007, He inspired me to write 128 poems. I can see now that God loves his people, and anyway he can open their eyes He does. I feel like there is a push for me to get it done. So many had encourage me to have the poems copyrighted. Because they can see how it relates and could be a help to many people. I now feel compelled to go further and publish a book, and call it, Inspirational Book of Poems. I work for Children's Village as a Youth Specialist 11. I have worked there since 1977. I have an Associate degree in Banking and finance. My wife and I have been married for thirty-one years. I am also blessed with seven children. I am a member of All Nation Church of God in Christ, in Detroit, where I'm the Assistant Pastor, and loved by my church family.
