The impressment of American seamen, the outrage on the Chesapeake, the affair of the Little Belt, and the acts of violence committed by the savages on the north-western frontier, -who were prompted and encouraged by the agents of the British government, -had also excited a war-spirit that needed but a breath to fan it into a flame.
