Description
Originally written in 1918, The Diyarbekir Massacres and Kurdish Atrocities is an important account of the 1915 genocide of Ottoman Armenians and Assyrians. As Mugerditchian states, it is based on a number of eyewitness accounts, including his own testimony, which reflects not only the painful realities of the Armenian Genocide, but also the post-WWI concerns of many Armenian intellectuals for the creation of a separate Armenian state on former Ottoman territories.
