The term 'Coeur d'Alene' was crafted by the French Traders when they met the local indians. The French said they had trading skills as hard as the heart of an awl. Over time this expression has come to mean 'Awl through the Heart.' The second victim murdered in the same manner had a note signed with Chinese writing. The signature on the note translates to 'White Devil.' A mysterious killer or killers are now stalking anyone involved in the Ken Kunkler murder investigation. Jake and David call for the assistance of Inspector Robbie Forbes in Whitley Bay, England and Sergeant Ammo Vecchio of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police in Kamloops, Canada to help solve this mystery.
