George Dunderdale (1822-1903) was an Australian, the Clerk of Courts at Alberton, Victoria, and an author. His most famous work is The Book of the Bush (1893), which contains "many truthful sketches of the early colonial life of squatters, whalers, convicts, diggers, and others who left their native land and never returned". His other works include: Prairie and Bush (1891) and Among the Diggers (1898).
