As a songwriter, he has had songs recorded by Bobby Bare, Ray Stevens, Jim Ed Brown, Chris LeDoux, Lynn Morris and others. He has produced albums on Bobby Bare, Jim Ed Brown and (with Mike Curb) Melinda Doolittle.
