Julia Bland has taught children of all ages. She has been a pastor's wife for 44 years and during those years gave a children's message during the worship service in churches where her husband served as pastor. She is the mother of six children and fourteen grandchildren. Julia has in her lifetime worked in various jobs ranging from cafe cook to teacher's aid, to art instructor for oil painting in college out-reach programs. Her award-winning oil, watercolor and pen and ink drawings have appeared in both private and public collections. She makes her home in Lincoln, Kansas.
