Description
This is a bilingual (English-German) book! A British chap (Barry Buggins) is planning to go to Germany to teach English, and in preparation he signs up for a TEFL class (Teaching English as a Foreign Language). He quickly learns that he knows nothing about teaching English despite it being his native language. His aunt finds him a teacher trainer (Mr. Sully), who helps him learn how to explain some of the intricacies of English grammar. That is the introduction, and the rest of the book is written as a conversation between Barry and Mr. Sully, in which the teacher asks the student questions that help him to understand some of the rules of English grammar by using what he knows as a native speaker.
On the left-hand side is the English text, and on the right-hand side is the same conversation in German.
