Description
Looking to make some extra money, Sophie Wölf, under the advice of her papa, Ernst, signs up for The Dreamscape Programme, an experimental procedure at the University of Bamberg. The program allows her to meet her ancestors, though their memories in her DNA.
She realises she can learn various lost skills and talents from her ancestor, skills and powers she can use in the real world. Unfortunately, the whole program collapses when some of the people in the program start abusing their powers, and outside forces come to Bamberg, seeking out those with abilities. Sophie is forced to get together a crew of people with various skills, to deal with the threat. Once her skills are acquired, she discovers a hidden world of Cervitaurs, Fae and Goatkin, all of whom have conflicts with each other, humans and themselves. Sophie is forced to deal with an interfering estranged mother who herself is a mage, a father who hates magic, and life in a society that is fearful of mages. Fortunately, she has a good set of friends to help her. Harlan's thieve's skills, Raffaella's swordmastery and Tomoko's casting abilities round out a crew of four she appears to have become the leader of.Looking to make some extra money, Sophie Wölf, under the advice of her papa, Ernst, signs up for The Dreamscape Programme, an experimental procedure at the University of Bamberg.
