The papers are a series of sketches of the principle characters that compose the hunt and are presented in such a way that they form a souvenir of one of the most favourable seasons in the author's recollection. A lovely illustrated book appealing to those with an interest in fox-hunting and history of the sport. Many of the earliest books, particularly those dating back to 1900s and before, are now extremely scarce and increasingly expensive.
