Despite a difficult childhood, Sam is a sensible young woman working to establish a life for herself in a new city. However, her aspirations are threatened when she becomes plagued with frequent headaches and memory loss. Still reeling from her toxic relationship with Chad, she finds comfort in Parrish, the very antithesis of her former beau. Though seemingly complete strangers, a consequential connection between the two women will eventually come to light-in more ways than one. But will Maren turn out to be a friend to Sam-or foe?
