Description
In a world of over the top villains, hot cops, mad scientists, and witchcraft, two individuals develop super powers and with the help of their friends they battle the evil forces that exist in Hub City New Jersey. A humorous comic book type novel that takes place slightly over the edge of reality where science and magick, yes magic with a K, exist side by side. Harry Manet and Lara Ladd are accidentally exposed to a scientific experiment and then to magick as well, giving them super powers. Being already out and proud homosexuals it just seemed natural to become out and proud superheroes as well. Unfortunately in the satiric world in which they live, super powers attract all sorts of villains ranging from homophobic psychotic psychotherapists to sorcerers searching for immortality to vengeful neglected wives and teenage delinquent wannabes. Somehow they take it all in stride while learning to adapt to their super and magickal powers, and coping with their personal relationships. From the author of Cool Mint Blue, and Melba Ridge, this comic book style story takes you on a whirlwind introduction to world of Homosexual Man and Lesbian Lad.
