Terence "Terry" Graham Parry Jones, born on 1st February 1942, Colwyn Bay, Denbighshire, Wales, UK, was an actor, writer, comedian, screenwriter, presenter, author, poet, film director and historian, best-known as a member of the Monty Python comedy team. After graduating from Oxford University with a degree in English, Jones and writing partner Michael Palin, whom he'd met there, wrote and performed for several high-profile British comedy programmes, including Do Not Adjust Your Set and The Frost Report.
