About the Author:
Frederick J. Zorn, Ed.D. is an experienced educator. For over 35 years, he taught and administered at all educational levels -- Preschool / Montessori, Primary, Intermediate / Middle and High School, and was an Adjunct Professor at three Universities.
Dr. Zorn created Interest-and-Experience-Oriented innovative approaches to improve Literacy and Academics in K-8th Grades. His tutoring book, ABR: YOU CAN READ!, is designed for adults at beginning and ESL reading levels. His children's books, Charlie Chameleon's First Day at School, and Goldy and Friends and Their Amazing Adventure deal with relevant issues including bullying, peer pressure, and self-image building.
Dr. Zorn has a B.A. Degree (Temple University) in Psychology and Education, a Master's Degree and Doctorate (University of Pennsylvania) in Curriculum and Administration, and Superintendent Certification (Arcadia U.). Dr. Zorn has published articles on education, served as a Curriculum Research Associate at Children's Television Workshop (Sesame Street), conducted workshops for Adult / Family Literacy, and is a volunteer Adult Literacy Tutor and consultant.

About the Illustrator:
Varun Pathak started drawing and clay sculpting as a young child in a Queens, New York apartment. He found inspiration in the sights and sounds of the city, his favorite cartoons and comics, and the rich mythology of ancient India. Using both computer and physical media to create 2-and 3-D images, he brings imagination to life. He has been commissioned for T-Shirt, Logo and Album Cover design as well as book illustration, and has taught art to all ages. He studied Illustration and has completed a BFA degree in Game Design at the Academy of Arts University. Special interests include Fantasy and Science Fiction illustration. Note: Computer drawing was used for this book.
