Description

This book of poetry collects the thoughts of Crystine LeForgee Harrison, a humble Christian lady who graced this world for 102 1/2 years. She lived her life devoted to her family, her church and her friends. She sought to offer words of comfort and inspiration to those in need, to share her joy in the daily, simple events of life, and to always trust in her faith to see her through difficult times. The poems express love, hope, faith, and vision with a simple but powerful clarity that reflects how she lived her life. Most of the poems in her own handwriting were collected by her children and presented to the family and guests at her 100th birthday celebration. It was only after her passing that her journals were found and they contained previously unseen works, which are included in this book.
