This story begins as the Warmonger Haden prepares for an invasion of the small kingdom of Utopia. As Haden pushes north, he is attacked by a young but powerful witch. Soon rumors spread that Haden is dead and his dragons scattered to the north, east, south and west.

A dragon guild manages to capture the young witch Angelina, whom attacked their master Lord Haden. When the dragon guild realizes that every warmonger within a thousand leagues would like to get their hands-on this witch, they leave her to fend for herself in the City of Hela.

Unable to control her power, Angelina is being hunted by a powerful warmonger and his deadly raiding parties. She is soon reunited with her only friend, an old woman she met as Haden’s forces prepared to invade her homeland. Having to face her nightmares and with nowhere to go, she leaves her home with the old woman and her companions. With armies descending and powerful magic converging, Angelina must find a way to control her power and prevent the death of millions of people before all is lost and their fate shattered.
