Description
Active processes, characteristic of the modern Russian language, have also touched punctuation, a stable and developed system of language. Political events, the emergence of new subjects of reality, the introduction of new information systems - all this is reflected in the modern Russian language. The object of the research is quotation marks, the spread of which confirms the tendency to expressiveness of the newspaper and journalistic style. The subject of research was the semantics and functions of quotation marks in the modern Russian language. The emergence of new (optional) functions of quotation marks made it necessary to consider the mechanisms of figurative accentuation of words and word combinations. This book is the first attempt to analyze the semantics of words enclosed in quotation marks from the point of view of objective reality. The book is addressed to people interested in active processes in the contemporary Russian language.
