Description

Relax, unwind, and soak up the sun—that's what vacation is about for people wanting to forget their pasts. But the past never rests. It glares until the person under its gaze is forced to acknowledge it...for better or worse.

Ted is a boxing champion with a troublesome history. It's not the stuff that would fill newspapers, but it's enough to fill his head with anxiety. He wants to get away for a while, kick back, and just forget who he is for a couple of weeks—literally forget. When he gets to Oahu, he happens upon a rather stunning and handsome creature—a Scottish man named Jareth who has similar relaxation goals as he has. So, when they start getting hot and heavy, Ted doesn't feel like there's anything wrong with a little fling. After all, that's what being on vacation is all about.

This connection is different, Ted thinks. It doesn't feel like anything else he's felt before. They don't just have sex, they experience each other. And Jareth shares the sentiment. When they're together, they forget everything, even the very existence of the island. But living in a fantasy world can only work for about a week. As they start to realize that their vacation is ending soon, they begin to wonder—how will this work?

As Ted's actions begin to catch up with him, he faces some challenging questions: is it possible to make such quick connections? Can he ever make up for his faults? And, worst of all, is it best to leave and forget Jareth in order to face his past?

Please Note: This book contains adult language & steamy adult activities, it is intended for 18+ Adults Only. Novel, approximately 32,000 words in length. HEA (happy ever after ending). Does not end with a "cliffhanger." Themes include: Vacation, Parent, Divorced, Beach, Travel, Sports, Boxing, Single Parent
