Description
Oxygen blow smelting in converter has the efficient ability of recovering vanadium from v-bearing hot metal, which makes it becomes the most wildly used method. However, vanadium extraction smelting process in converter requires not only maximum vanadium recovery to form v-enriched slag, but also to ensure reasonable high carbon content in semi-steel, which is the other product of vanadium extraction process, to ensure subsequent steel-making process. In this book, reasonable temperature strategy in thermodynamic, progress dynamic modeling, melting and rheological properties of vanadium slag, kinetic simulation, slag splashing and et.al have been introduced to ensure highly efficient vanadium extraction process. This book can be used as a teaching material for graduate students in material science courses in higher education institutions, as well as for senior undergraduates majoring in mechanical engineering and materials, and as a reference book for engineers and technicians.
