Jeffrey Burghauser is a teacher in Columbus, Ohio. He was educated at the State University of New York at Buffalo and at the University of Leeds. He currently studies the five-string banjo with a focus on prewar picking styles. A former artist-in-residence at the Arad Arts Project (Israel), his poems have appeared (or are forthcoming) in The Agonist, Appalachian Journal, The Asses of Parnassus, Fearsome Critters, Iceview (Iceland), Lehrhaus, New English Review (where he's a regular contributor), Montana Mouthful, and The Showbear Family Circus. He is the author of Real Poems(2019).
