Author Duane Beachey, Isom, Kentucky, is a Mennonite pastor serving two small Presbyterian churches in southeastern Kentucky. Most of his life has been dedicated to working in poor communities to improve housing for the families there. He previously authored Faith in a Nuclear Age, Herald Press, 1983.
