Description

Does the world seem overwhelmingly dark and sad to you? Is it hard to find any real joy in the daily drudgery of your routine? If so, you don't have to settle for these feelings. Happiness and simple joys can be found just around the corner. As you read through Diane Ranker Riesen's inspirational book, Rainbows In the Dark, which is based loosely on real-life experiences, you will see that God's blessings are often right in front of you. You will see how God uses Eva, a volunteer at Skylark Care Center, in very ordinary and common ways. And yet her small contributions to the lives of some lonely people show us how God uses each of us in special ways.

Some of God's greatest desires are accomplished in the smallest and simplest gestures. Oftentimes you are making some incredible differences in the lives of others and you never even know it! Learn how easy it is to be a vessel of God's genuine plan for your life. Rainbows really do show up in the dark

About the Author

Diane Ranker Riesen was born and raised in Tiffin, Ohio. She has been married for over thirty-three years to her husband, Mark Riesen. Together they are the proud parents of three children: a son, Luke Andrew Riesen; a daughter, Pamela Grace (Riesen) Stevenson; and also an infant son, Brent Christopher Riesen, who waits for them in heaven. They have two grandsons, Braden Andrew Riesen and Jace Christopher Riesen, as well as a daughter-in-law, Sara (Burgderfer) Riesen, and a son-in-law, Michael Stevenson. Along with raising her family, Diane volunteered for several years at a local nursing home and also helped to head up a special program in Tiffin's public school system, for at-risk students in junior high school.
