Donald Hricik is a transplant nephrologist at an academic medical center in Ohio, where he resides. He has written over 175 medical papers. This is his first novel. Dr. Hricik is currently working on his next book, which revolves around the unexpected transmission of a rare infection from an organ donor to multiple organ recipients.
