The main idea of the work was to analyze the proposal developed by the MEP in the new study programs for secondary education-mathematics, specifically in the approach given to the topic of the Pythagorean Theorem at the classroom level, identifying the methodology developed as well as knowing the opinion of teachers and students about the class dynamics when this topic is developed.
