Description
The objective of this research was to propose a teacher updating program for the use of virtual platforms at the International Maritime University of Panama in the period 2019-2021. The theories developed for the variable teaching update, Torres (2014) and Villegas (2002) and for the variable virtual platforms: Management (2017) and Nasheli (2014). Methodologically, the mixed paradigm was used, the type of research feasible project, with a non-experimental design of transectional field, the population was 71 teachers and the sample of 41 subjects; for the collection of information was chosen for the diagnosis through dialogues and a questionnaire with 21 items. This was submitted to the judgment of 5 experts, the reliability according to Cronbach was 0.81 of very high magnitude. The statistical program Statistic version 18.0 was applied, the values for each item were described, grouped by percentages in tables and graphs by dimensions and indicators.
