It peeked my curiosity of just what kind of America the progressives would have created if their movement had not been aborted and co-oped by the socialists and communists in the 1930s. In Progressive America, I hypothesis on the type of society the progressives would have created, and not what I hoped they would have created. In 1930s the Progressive Party was captured by socialists/communists and ever since the word "progressive" has been used as a false face for every leftist movement from liberalism to socialism.
